The Monroe County Amateur Radio Emergency Service is happy to report a good turnout to the Skywarn Training session presented by meteorologist and Senior Forecaster Jeremy Buckles, WX4JLB, from the National Weather Service office in Morristown (MRX.)
In addition to members of MCARES, there were folks from Monroe Amateur Radio Club, Tellico Lake Amateur Radio Club, Monroe County Emergency Management, and other local governmental agencies.
