Huntsville Hamfest 2024 – Saturday August 17th – Sunday August 18th
The Huntsville Hamfest is right around the corner! The third largest hamfest in the US is on August 17th and 18th at the Werner Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This is an all indoor hamfest… perfect for hot August weather in Alabama. Major vendors, including Yaesu and Icom will be there, along with numerous other dealers and tables. W4DXCC DX and Contest Convention – Thursday August 15th

The W4DXCC DX and Contest Convention has relocated to Huntsville, and will continue to coincide with the Huntsville Hamfest into the future. The event will be held at the SIGNALS Museum, with registration starting at 8am and the presentations kicking off at 9am. This is a separately ticketed event. YouTuber’s Picnic and POTA Event Friday Aug 16th
In addition to the hamfest on the weekend, there will be a picnic and POTA event put on by a group of Ham Radio YouTuber’s on Friday, August 16th, at the John Scoble Pavilion in Monte Sano State Park, POTA activity starting around 9am. The grills and griddles will be fired up around 11am. Participants are encouraged to bring a side dish. Water will be provided. Donations to help defray expenses will be accepted; excess donations will be given to the ARRL Teacher’s Institute.
