Tennessee will be participating in the Simulated Emergency Test in a limited capacity. Currently, we will only be participating via WinLink, and the test submissions are limited to ONE report per callsign. The limitations and restrictions of this has been raised within the ARES and related amateur emergency communications agencies.
In the meantime, plan on October 19th, 2023 at 10:19 am as being the effective date for the Great Central US ShakeOut, as well as the 2023 Simulated Emergency Test for ARES and RACES groups.
