The MTEARS linking repeater at Crossville W4KEV is down. So eastern part of the state is disconnected from the MTEARS network. Each repeater should be working individually as a stand alone (except the Crossville one).
During times of severe weather the backup method of accessing MTEARS is to use DMR Talkgroup 31472. That is their standard backup method when the link is down. They are working on establishing a method of backup linkage with other repeaters, but that does not exist yet. Various reasons hampering the repair of the Crossville repeater mean it will likely not be functional and on the air before this coming Monday.
