APRS<\/strong> stands for Automatic Packet Reporting System<\/strong>. It\u2019s a digital communication system used mainly by amateur radio operators to share real-time information over radio networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will need a TNC (or software modem like UZ7HO SoundModem), a radio and a soundcard interface like a SignaLink or DigiRig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For FlDigi and other programs in the FlSuite, visit W1HKJ Software<\/a>. here you will find the program downloads and the user manuals for each. FlDigi is a powerful cross-platform program for digital communication and can be used without a soundcard or digital interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit the ARRL NBEMS (Narrow Band Emergency Messaging Software) page for links to two presentations on using FlDigi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
